Menthol or eucalyptus can also be considered a home remedy for snoring. A lot of people use menthol rubs. When you have a cold or blocked nose making sure your sinuses are clear can stop you snoring. Rub a little menthol under your nose as this will help you tremendously. Marjoram is another favorite home remedy for snoring; this is sold in jars and you simply open the lid and keep it next to your bed at night. Your sinuses start clearing as the aroma permeates the room.

You can also use a vaporizer as a home remedy for snoring if you add a bit of menthol or eucalyptus oil to it. The smell will then be dispersed gradually throughout the night helping you to breathe more easily. Even a vaporizer or humidifier on its own can be considered a good home remedy for snoring as dry air can make your sinuses and throat dry as well. Also, be aware that you don’t just have to stick to one remedy. Using a couple in conjunction can be very beneficial.
